Now is the time

“When (the obstacle clears up), then I’m going to (do the inspiring thing). Seriously!"

Sound familiar?

Well, I’ve been saying something like this and putting off the next big step in my journey for more than a year. And that’s changing now.

I’ve been justifying my “delay” (resistance really) because of all the fear, division and uncertainty I’ve been perceiving in the world.

And I know I’m not alone in feeling this way, especially these past few years.

It’s human nature to keep waiting for a “better time” to get into aligned action.

I see it in myself, my friends, my family and my clients.

“One day!” we convince ourselves.

And yet like the lyrics from Steve Miller Band’s Fly Like an Eagle, “time keeps on slippin’, slippin’, slippin’...into the future”.

And now I’m getting off the plateau and resuming my ascent up my "purpose mountain" because I’m reconnecting to my inspired vision for my life.

And I'm recommitting to playing my part, however small it seems, to create the world I want to live in.

I first connected to my vision at the end of 2019, right before the pandemic shut the world down.

Back then while going through a purpose discovery process, I had an ah-ha moment.

I saw that global healing and transformation to a peaceful, joyful, thriving world for all life can happen.

And the process accelerates when we each deeply connect to our true nature, open our hearts to each other, and start sharing our gifts with the world.

"Think global, act local"

After I connected powerfully to this vision, I took one of the biggest leaps of blind faith in my life and left the corporate world to become a coach and a guide to support people to connect to their true, inspired calling and make big aligned shifts.

And that’s what I’ve been up to these past 2 years while confronting my deepest fears.

I’ve had the honor of coaching dozens of clients from all over the world.

I’ve co-created and coached online group programs, led transformational workshops.

These are things I never would have imagined doing or wanting to do just a few years ago.

I have such gratitude and love everything about what I do except that most of my working time is spent on Zoom.

For the past year or more, I’ve been longing to do this work face to face and create and lead group in-person programs.

But I’ve been waiting for just the “right time”, when the world feels ready.

And so I keep waiting…and been feeling my vision, my “why” slowly fade away, especially over the past 6 months.

After recently attending an in-person transformational workshop, and experiencing the power of community and connection in an intentional space, I reconnected powerfully with my vision and suddenly I remembered.

Now, in this time of FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt) is the perfect time for all of us to connect to our inspired vision for our lives and to let go of all the reasons why we should keep waiting before take that next step.

Now is the time to be the change we want to see in the world and come together to support each other.

Because without a new inspired vision we’ll keep going in the same direction we’ve been heading and that’s not working.

So I’m fired up to announce that I’m co-creating and co-facilitating, with an amazing coach, Jeff Walsh, a 30-day transformational program, starting May 2nd centered around a 4-day summit in San Diego (May 20-23).

It’s called SoulFire and you can learn more at www.soulfire-summit.com

So what’s been calling you that you’ve been holding off starting for when the “time is right”?
